Description
Black Shirt in TENCEL™ Lyocell
THE SUSTAINABILITY
This shirt was sewn and finished by local dressmakers and is made of TENCEL™ Lyocell, a cellulosic fiber from responsibly managed forests, used to make not only the garment’s fabric but also the yarn for the stitching. The supplier of the fabric adopts the Chemical Management 4Sustainability protocol for the elimination of substances harmful to humans and the environment. We in any case believe that details make the difference, so for the labels sewn onto the garment we chose certified organic cotton. Likewise, the buttons are made of recycled hemp (on a zero-waste perspective) and a small percentage of recycled polyester and are purchased from a supplier who has joined Greenpeace’s Detox campaign to eliminate harmful substances from production. The fabric of the inserts takes on the vibrant colours of our patterns thanks to sustainable and certified inks safeguarding workers, consumers and the environment. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG.

Packaging
The box containing the product is made 100% recycled paper and can in turn be recycled, like the tags accompanying it. To better withstand impact during shipment, the shipment box is made partly of recycled fibres and partly of virgin fibres from responsibly managed forests. The adhesive tape for closing the box is made of paper from sustainably managed forests. We carefully designed the shipment packaging to make it easily and wholly recyclable as paper.
